Welcome to GlobalTalks. By downloading, installing, or using the GlobalTalks application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GlobalTalks, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

GlobalTalks is an AI-powered multilingual communication platform that provides:

• Real-time translation across 200+ languages
• AI companion (MOM) for conversation and assistance
• Voice translation and speech-to-text features
• Camera OCR for text extraction and translation
• Document translation
• Emergency SOS features
• Encrypted chat messaging
• Voice cloning features

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use GlobalTalks
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You must provide accurate information during registration
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use GlobalTalks to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Send spam, harassment, or abusive messages
• Share illegal, offensive, or harmful content
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt our services
• Use the service for commercial purposes without permission
• Share content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Misuse the Emergency SOS feature with false emergencies

5. AI Features Disclaimer

• GlobalTalks uses AI for translation and companion features
• AI translations may not always be accurate
• Do not rely solely on AI translation for medical, legal, or emergency situations
• GlobalTalks SOS is NOT a replacement for official emergency services
• Always call 112 directly in life-threatening emergencies
• We are not liable for any damages resulting from AI errors

6. Emergency SOS Feature

• The Emergency SOS feature is provided as an additional tool only
• It is NOT a substitute for official emergency services
• Always call local emergency numbers (112, 100, 108) in real emergencies
• Misuse of the SOS feature may result in account suspension
• We are not liable for any delays or failures in emergency response

7. Voice Cloning

• Voice cloning features must only be used with consent of the voice owner
• Using voice cloning to impersonate others without consent is prohibited
• We are not liable for misuse of voice cloning features

8. Privacy and Data

Your use of GlobalTalks is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy at Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

• GlobalTalks and all related content are owned by GlobalTalks
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our app without permission
• User-generated content remains owned by the user
• By uploading content, you grant us a license to use it to provide our services

10. Subscription and Payments

• GlobalTalks offers free and premium subscription plans
• Premium features require a paid subscription
• Payments are processed through Razorpay and Google Play Billing
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy

11. Refund Policy

• Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase
• Contact support@globaltalksapp.com for refund requests
• Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
• We reserve the right to refuse refunds for misuse

12. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Misuse the Emergency SOS feature
• Harass or abuse other users
• Attempt to hack or disrupt our services

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• GlobalTalks is provided "as is" without warranties
• We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages
• We are not liable for translation errors or AI mistakes
• We are not liable for emergency service failures
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or email. Continued use of GlobalTalks after changes constitutes acceptance.
